Performances.

Pumpkin song.

  After learning some more things  about pumpkins, we learnt a nice song and we have to change a pumpkin into Jack O, Lattern as we sing it. After performing it, we made a pumpkin vine.

Sprouting seeds experiment.

In order to learn about photosinthesis and growth of a plant we make a fascinating experiment. We display lentil seeds in three diferent places and we change some variables in order to make it a fair test:
Plate 1: They have sunlight, water and air.
Plate 2: They have water but no sunlight.
Plate 3; They have sunlight and air, but no water.
We make observations and take notes for nine days, after that we will draw some conclussions.

We conclude that plants need water, air, sunlight and the right temperature in order to grow.

Pumpkin, Pumpkin.

As Halloween is near and we know pumpkins are so related to it, we learn the life cycle of a pumpkin and we do different activities with it,. First we listen to the story "Pumpkin, Pumpkin" After that we will do different tasks with it.

 Finally we played a card game and after that we put the different steps in the correct order:

The Tiny Seed.

In order to remind the life season of a plant and how seasons influence plants behaviour, we listen to the beautiful tale "The Tiny Seed", after that we will make a diagram showing how the seed change thoughout different seasons.
