Solids, liquids and gases.

Our planet is made of water (hydrosphere), dry land and air (atmosphere), this helps aus to remember that everything on Earth is made of matter and we can find that matter in three different states: liquid, solid and gas. To practise, we have been working with these three states and we have made " A book that Matters" and have learned three very easy poems about them. First we have filled in the blanks and them we have prepared our own decorated version of the poem.
We have also worked with mass and volume comparing oranges, soft balls and hard balls.
